Comparative Literature Faculty

Tenure-Track Faculty (TTF)

The tenure-track comparative literature faculty are comprised of:

  1. Faculty with FTE in Comparative Literature
  2. Non-COLT FTE Departmental Faculty: Faculty members appointed for three-year terms whose FTE is entirely in another department but who participate in the executive operation of the Department

TTF may serve as chair, co-chair, or core members of comparative literature dissertation committees. Comparative Literature TTF may not serve as institutional members on dissertation committees.

Kenneth Calhoon – permanent appointment (50% COLT / 50% GER-SCAN)
Katya Hokanson – permanent appointment (80% REESC / 20% COLT)
Lanie Millar – three-year appointment 2020-23 (100% RL)
Leah Middlebrook – permanent appointment (60% COLT / 40% RL)
Jenifer Presto – permanent appointment (80% REESC / 20% COLT)
Tze-Yin Teo – permanent appointment (100% COLT)
Alejandro Vallega – three-year appointment (2021-24) (100% PHIL)

NTTF

Career and adjunct NTTF participate in department governance as outlined in our Governance document.

Participating Faculty

Participating Faculty teach COLT courses, advise undergraduate and graduate students, and participate in department events. They do not participate in department governance.

Participating Faculty serve as chair, co-chair, and core members of comparative literature dissertation committees. Participating faculty may not serve as institutional members on comparative literature dissertation committees except by petition.
